This animated video presents the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Kozani, a strategic initiative focused on creating a more accessible, people-centred and environmentally conscious city. The aim was to translate the plan’s ideas into an engaging visual narrative, making a complex subject easier to understand and more approachable for the public. Through animation, we explore a vision of Kozani with more pedestrian and car-free spaces, alternative ways of moving around the city, and greater citizen participation in shaping its future.

The visual language is built around a collage-based animation, combining illustrated elements, photography, typography and 3D assets into a playful urban landscape. Different visual layers come together and move independently, creating a sense of a living, evolving city. The mix of textures, cut-out imagery and graphic shapes gives the film a tactile, handcrafted quality, while the animation keeps the information dynamic and easy to follow. The overall approach was deliberately friendly and imaginative, transforming an institutional subject into a more human and accessible visual story.
